Beststudy Education Group reported first-half 2026 revenue of RMB 1.05 billion, a 14.3% increase year on year, driven by 19.4% growth in its comprehensive talent business and continued expansion across China’s Greater Bay Area.

Gross profit rose 14.6% to RMB 473.32 million, keeping gross margin broadly stable at 45.2%. Net profit climbed 11.1% to RMB 168.37 million, while adjusted net profit reached RMB 168.56 million. Operating cash inflow came in at approximately RMB 180 million, lifting cash and cash equivalents to RMB 347.14 million; an additional RMB 523.51 million was held in time deposits.

The Board declared an interim dividend of HK$0.18 per share, following the HK$0.117 final dividend paid in May. In line with its three-year dividend policy, the company targets payout ratios of 50%, 60% and 70% for 2025–2027. Beststudy also intends to repurchase and cancel 30 million shares from its RSU trustee in the second half, after spending RMB 68.11 million to buy back 24.06 million shares for the RSU scheme during the period.

Capital structure remained conservative with no bank debt and a current ratio of 1.11. The gearing ratio improved to 0.61. Lease liabilities stood at RMB 331.66 million.

Operationally, the group advanced its “All-in AI” strategy: its proprietary “Beststudy Large Model” secured regulatory filing in June, supporting AI-enhanced teaching tools and back-office processes. Regional growth was led by Guangzhou and Foshan, while Shenzhen enrolments registered a sharp rebound; a new campus opened in Jiangmen in the first half.

Post-period, on 1 July 2026 Beststudy completed the RMB 0.60 million acquisition of 100% stakes in three consulting and service companies in Guangzhou, broadening its comprehensive talent business portfolio.

Management reaffirmed its focus on high-quality growth, AI deployment, and disciplined shareholder returns to sustain long-term value creation.
