Geely Automobile (00175) saw its shares rise nearly 3% in Monday morning trading, climbing 2.54% to HK$16.53 at the time of writing, with a turnover of HK$318 million.

According to an official update from Lynk & Co's WeChat account, Geely Automobile Group and Volvo Cars have formally finalized an agreement regarding Lynk & Co's commercial cooperation strategy in the European market. Under the terms of this deal, starting from January 2027, Volvo Cars will act as the exclusive distributor for Lynk & Co in Europe, taking full responsibility for the brand's commercial and brand operations in the region.

This collaboration does not involve any changes to the equity structure, as Geely Automobile Group will continue to lead Lynk & Co's core global operations, including product design, development, regulatory compliance certification, and overarching brand strategy.
