During the National Day holiday, at the construction site of the 350,000-ton-per-year natural gas liquefaction project of Huanda New Energy in the Tumd Right Banner New-Type Industrial Park, multiple work areas including tank welding, equipment installation, and pipeline laying were advancing simultaneously. The roar of machinery continued day and night, with a thousand builders working through the holiday to seize the golden autumn construction season and push toward the year-end milestone.
In the project's liquefaction unit area, Gong Yong, the on-site project manager from Shandong Jereh Kaitai Technology Co., Ltd., was checking safety measures for equipment installation item by item. Originally from Guizhou, he has been rooted in this project for three months and voluntarily stayed at the site during the National Day holiday. "Although I regret not being able to reunite with my family, being able to personally participate in the construction of a key green energy project and contribute to its early commissioning makes me feel grounded and honored," Gong Yong said. "During the holiday, we strictly followed the principles of safety first and quality foremost to advance all progress, with key control over safety risks in equipment installation, pipeline installation, and Tank 201 installation, ensuring the project proceeds smoothly."
Gong Yong is not the only one who gave up holiday reunions. At this construction site, there are many builders from other regions, scattered across different processes such as welding, installation, and civil engineering, each holding their post and working in coordination, supporting the construction pace that continues without pause during the holiday.
During the National Day period, the project team implemented a 24-hour duty system, carried out regular safety hazard inspections, and adopted staggered scientific construction. Under the premise of maintaining both workplace safety and project quality, they raced against time to catch up on schedules and progress.
It is understood that this project is a key supporting project for Tumd Right Banner's layout of green and low-carbon industries and the improvement of the regional clean energy supply guarantee system. The project has a total investment of 400 million yuan and covers an area of 200 mu. It plans to build a modern LNG production line and supporting liquefaction, safety, storage and transportation facilities, along with core main works such as LNG storage tanks, a central control room, a compressor plant, and a fire pump station. It also revitalizes and renovates existing idle buildings in the park to save resources and improve construction efficiency. Once completed, the project will significantly enhance the region's capacity for clean energy storage, peak shaving, and supply guarantees, optimize the local energy structure, and boost the green and low-carbon transformation of Tumd Right Banner's energy industry.
