U.S. stocks opened mixed on Monday as traders eyed U.S. Treasury yields and global oil prices ahead of the release of the Federal Reserve's September meeting notes later in the week.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average traded 64 points lower, or 0.1%. The S&P 500 rose marginally along with the Nasdaq Composite
France's Schneider Electric struck its biggest deal ever on Monday, agreeing to buy US software company PTC for around $22.6 billion as it builds up its data centre business amid booming demand. PTC shares soared 36% in morning trading.
