Bank of Gansu (02139) disclosed that its Board, at a meeting on 14 September 2026, proposed the appointment of Du Jing as an executive director for the fourth Board session, subject to qualification approval by the Gansu Office of the National Financial Regulatory Administration (NFRA) and shareholder endorsement at an upcoming general meeting.
Simultaneously, the Board approved Du Jing’s appointment as President. He will assume the duties immediately and continue once his presidential qualification is cleared by the NFRA, with both mandates running to the end of the current Board term.
Du Jing, aged 50 and holding a bachelor’s degree, joined Bank of Gansu in December 2011. His prior roles include:
• General Manager, Individual Business Department • Director, Credit Card Center • General Manager, Asset Management Department • Party Committee Member and Vice President • Deputy Director General (temporary), Foreign Investment Management Department, Ministry of Commerce (Feb 2023–Jan 2024) • Deputy Secretary, Party Committee (since Sep 2026)
Upon confirmation, Du Jing will enter into a service agreement with compensation aligned to Bank policies, comprising base salary, performance-based pay, enterprise annuity, employee benefits, and statutory contributions to social insurance and the housing provident fund.
The Board stated that the nomination complies with the Company Law, the Implementation Measures for Administrative Licensing of Chinese-Funded Commercial Banks, the Administrative Measures on Qualifications of Directors and Senior Management of Banking Institutions, and the Bank’s Articles of Association. No conflicts of interest, shareholdings, or other matters requiring disclosure under Hong Kong listing rules were identified.
