Momentum Financial Holdings reported a narrowed net loss of HK$11.40 million for the year ended 31 December 2025, a 51% improvement from the HK$23.28 million loss in 2024. The result stemmed from lower impairment charges and reduced finance costs, despite softer topline growth and thinner margins.

Revenue fell 6.0% to HK$592.38 million. Sales of nutrition food and health-care products declined 47.5% to HK$330.90 million, while a new revenue stream from cross-border trading of electronic products contributed HK$261.48 million. Finance-leasing operations generated no income versus HK$0.14 million a year earlier.

Cost of sales eased 4.5% to HK$572.56 million, but the faster revenue contraction compressed gross profit by 35.8% to HK$19.81 million, driving gross margin down to 3.3% from 4.9%. Administrative and other expenses edged down 3.4% to HK$8.50 million. Impairment losses on trade receivables shrank to HK$2.27 million from HK$16.46 million, and finance costs fell 13.7% to HK$9.79 million following debt restructuring.

Total borrowings dropped to HK$147.63 million from HK$200.78 million, cutting the gearing ratio to 37.5% (2024: 52.1%). Net assets nearly doubled to HK$159.48 million, aided by completion of a HK$178.62 million debt-for-equity swap in November 2025. The current ratio strengthened to 2.6x (2024: 1.25x), while cash and bank balances were stable at HK$3.61 million.

No dividend was declared for the year.

Post-year-end, additional convertible-bond conversions on 9 January 2026 and 21 January 2026 issued 258.27 million new shares, further reducing outstanding debt. Momentum Financial also signed a non-binding memorandum on 11 March 2026 to acquire a 2% stake in PayCools Cayman for USD3 million.

Management reiterated focus on expanding cross-border trading, particularly in electronic products, and confirmed the finance-leasing segment has ceased new business activity.
