FAMEGLOW (03774) shares jumped more than 31% during Tuesday's trading session, reflecting strong investor enthusiasm. At the time of writing, the stock was up 12.70% to HK$21.38, with turnover reaching HK$70.25 million.
The surge comes after the Shanghai Stock Exchange recently announced adjustments to the list of eligible stocks under the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect, with FAMEGLOW officially added to the program effective September 7. Notably, on June 30, the company successfully transferred its listing from the GEM board to the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The swift inclusion into the Stock Connect list just over two months after the board transfer is expected to help optimize the company's investor base, enhance stock liquidity, and strengthen its brand value. According to public information, FAMEGLOW is a medical aesthetic services provider operating "per Face" branded medical beauty centers in prime locations across Hong Kong, including Causeway Bay, Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok, and Central, as well as in Macau.
In a related development, FAMEGLOW launched its "AI Anti-Aging" platform development in July, engaging Hong Kong-based AI company Sunseeker to develop the model.
