Hao Tian International Construction Investment Group (Hao Tian Intl) has released its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report for the year ended 31 March 2026, covering its core construction-machinery and financial-services operations in Hong Kong.

Environmental Metrics and Targets • Total greenhouse-gas (GHG) emissions rose to 472.81 tCO₂e, up 27% from 370.91 tCO₂e in FY 2024/25, driven chiefly by higher diesel usage. Scope 1 emissions reached 329.03 tCO₂e, while Scope 2 electricity-related emissions were 143.78 tCO₂e. • Automotive nitrogen-oxide (NOₓ) emissions fell 20% year-on-year to 387.32 kg; sulphur-oxide (SOₓ) emissions edged up to 1.36 kg. Particulate emissions declined 34% to 42.30 kg. • Total hazardous waste rose to 1.60 tonnes (16.58 kg per employee) versus 0.40 tonnes a year earlier. Non-hazardous waste remained stable at 0.65 tonnes. • Energy consumption totalled 84,673 litres of diesel, 6,880 litres of petrol and 228,228 kWh of electricity; water use was 558 cubic metres. • The group targets a 2% reduction in both GHG intensity and energy/water intensity by 2030 from the FY 2025/26 baseline. Actions include phasing in Stage IIIA-compliant construction machinery, retiring pre-Euro IV diesel vehicles, and expanding energy-efficient office practices.

Climate-Risk Assessment Hao Tian Intl completed its first climate-related risk review, identifying extreme weather, rising temperatures and tightening disclosure rules as non-material but monitored risks. Mitigation measures include emergency work protocols, regular machinery maintenance and enhanced data collection for future disclosures.

Social Performance • Headcount stood at 98 (85 male, 13 female); 96 employees are Hong Kong-based. • Overall staff turnover was 17.0%, with female turnover at 41.4% and male at 13.4%. • No work-related fatalities or lost-time injuries were recorded during the year. • Training reached 88.2% of male staff and 30.8% of female staff, averaging 4.4 and 2.7 hours respectively. • The group confirms full compliance with employment, health-and-safety and labour-standards legislation, with zero prosecutions.

Supply Chain and Governance • Supplier base totals 54, comprising 52 in Hong Kong and two overseas. Annual assessments cover environmental, social and ethical criteria. • Anti-corruption controls include a board-approved code of conduct, whistle-blowing channels and adherence to Hong Kong’s Anti-Money Laundering Ordinance. No corruption cases occurred during the reporting period. • Product-responsibility measures include rigorous machinery testing, 12-month manufacturer warranties and compliance training for financial-services staff. No product recalls or customer complaints were logged.

Community Engagement The company maintained community involvement through sports, elder-care visits and support for children with special needs; no quantifiable volunteer hours were reported.

Forward Look Hao Tian Intl plans to align operations with evolving environmental regulations, deepen stakeholder engagement and pursue its stated 2030 intensity-reduction goals to reinforce long-term sustainability.
