Datang Renew's Power Output Dips 10.76% in First Eight Months

Datang Renew (01798) has reported a decline in its power generation figures for the period ending August 2026.

According to the company's latest announcement, the group generated approximately 1,923,900 MWh of electricity in August 2026 on a consolidated basis, marking a 9.80% decrease compared to the same month in 2025. Breaking down the monthly output, wind power contributed around 1,376,100 MWh, down 12.46% year-on-year, while solar power generation reached approximately 547,800 MWh, representing a 2.34% decline from the prior year.

For the cumulative period from January to August 2026, Datang Renew recorded total power generation of roughly 20,648,200 MWh, reflecting a 10.76% decrease year-on-year. Within this total, wind power output stood at about 16,997,200 MWh, down 13.26% compared to the same period in 2025, whereas solar power generation reached approximately 3,651,000 MWh, showing a positive year-on-year growth of 3.08%.
