China HK Power Smart Energy Group Limited has postponed the completion timeline for its planned new-share subscription, originally scheduled for mid-September.
The Listing Committee of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing approved the listing and dealing of the subscription shares on 8 September 2026, fulfilling all conditions precedent under the Subscription Agreement. Payment of the subscription monies was initially due by 14 September 2026, with completion to follow immediately after receipt of cleared funds.
Due to additional time required for the subscriber to obtain foreign-exchange control approvals and remit funds to Hong Kong, the company and the subscriber have mutually agreed to extend the payment deadline to 28 September 2026, or a later date subject to written agreement. The completion date will move in tandem with this extension.
The board reported no material fluctuation in the company’s share price between 14 August 2026—the date of the Subscription Agreement—and 14 September 2026, the date of the current announcement. All other terms and conditions of the Subscription Agreement remain unchanged.
Completion of the subscription remains contingent on settlement of the subscription monies; therefore, the transaction may or may not proceed, and investors are advised to exercise caution when trading the company’s shares.
