China Datang Renewable's Output Falls Nearly 10% in August

China Datang Renewable Power (HKG:1798) recorded power generation of around 1.9 million megawatt-hours in August, down 9.8% from a year ago, according to a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing.

Of the total, wind power output fell 12.5% to around 1.4 million megawatt-hours, while photovoltaic power generation declined 2.3% to 547,807 megawatt-hours.

For the eight months ended Aug. 31, output fell 10.8% to 20.6 million megawatt-hours. Of this, wind power output dropped 13.3% to 17 million megawatt-hours, while photovoltaic power output rose 3.1% year over year to 3.7 million megawatt-hours.
