Stock futures were struggling for direction on Monday as the boost the market got from Friday's weaker-than-expected jobs report fizzled out.

Qualcomm advanced 3.8% in premarket trading after the chip maker and Huawei announced a multi-year patent license agreement. The deal includes cross licenses to the companies' 5G, compute, AI, and networking patent portfolios.

Intel slipped 3.2% after Elon Musk confirmed rival semiconductor manufacturer Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. is in talks with Musk's chip venture Terafab. Intel is also a Terafab partner.

Crypto stocks were trading higher, with Bitcoin up 1.3% to $86,222 over the past 24 hours. Coinbase added 2.3%, Robinhood climbed 1.4%, and Strategy was up 3%.

PTC surged 35% to $194.56 after French electrical equipment maker Schneider Electric agreed to buy the industrial-software maker for $205 a share in a $22.6 billion all-cash deal.
